摘要：A control system controls a turbocharger which incorporates a rotary electricmachine that is operable as a motor or a generator. When the rotary electric machineoperates as a motor with supplied electric power, the control system controls theamount by which the electric power is to be reduced or increased, depending on the rateof change of the rotational speed of the turbocharger within a speed control range forthe turbocharger, thereby reducing the degree by which the rotational speed of theturbocharger varies.
