第26届MTV VMA颁奖典礼将在9月13日于纽约的Radio City Music Hall正式上演，主持人依旧是去年伶牙俐齿的英国喜剧明星Russell Brand。
日前，官方终于开通了本次颁奖典礼的提名投票，马戏女王Britney凭借第6张原创大碟“Circus”中的两首主打单曲“Womanizer”与“Circus”获得了总共7个奖项的提名，风光无限。
Britney具体入围奖项如下：
Video of the Year - Womanizer
Best Pop Video - Womanizer
Best Art Direction- Circus
Best Choreography- Circus
Best Direction- Circus
Best Editing- Circus
Best Cinematography- Circus
而今“Video of the Year”（年度最佳音乐录影带大奖）与“Best Pop Video”（最佳流行音乐录影带大奖）的投票系统已经开通（其他5个提名均为专业奖项，不接受公众投票）。
