stop sb from doing sth阻止某人做某事
短语中的from在主动语态中可以省略，被动语态中不能省略，如
The heavy rain stopped him from
going out to play yesterday.这个句子中from可以省略。
=He was stopped from going out to
play by the heavy rain yesterday.这句中的from不能省略。
