It was raining. On the way home from school, Peter saw and old man walking in the rain. Peter hurried to him with an umbrella. He tried to hold the umbrella for the old man. But he was too short to hold it high enough. Suddenly, he had a good idea when he saw the old man’s stick. He tied the stick to the handle of the umbrella and made it tall enough. The umbrella stopped the old man from getting. The old man thanked Peter and they went away together.
