both 表示两着都… 是个副词,也可以做代词,例:
副词:We are both students.
代词:Both of us are students.
它的否定形式是neither 词性和both一样,例:
副词:We are neither STUDENT, 注意是单数名词.
代词:Neither of us IS a student 同样注意也是单数
one of +名词复数 而后面的谓语动词要用单数 因为中心语是 one of
thunderstorms是雷雨得意思，用复数
如果用and连接的两个词语（为可数名词）表示两个事物的概念，就应该用be动词are。但用and连接两个两个词语表示一个事物，或都在英语中的习惯的用法用is，such as 说针和线时就用is。一个不可数名词和一个可数名词用and连接要看所表示的概念，是一个整体用is。其它用are。
多个单数名词作主语比如：A and B时，谓语用复数；A (together)with B时谓语就A。你可以查看中学英语语法书啊！
